Remotely Unlock Your Host PC

If your host PC is locked, it may require additional action to unlock it. Your operating system determines the unlock method.

To unlock 2000, XP Professional or Vista use the Send Ctrl-Alt-Del feature

  1. From the Viewer menu, choose Tools, then Send Ctrl-Alt-Del; or you can click the Send Ctrl-Alt-Del button in the upper right-hand corner of the Viewer window.

  2. Unlock your PC as you normally would using your network ID and Password.

To unlock XP Home (or XP Professional with Fast User Switching)

  1. If the screensaver is running, move the mouse to deactivate it.

  2. This displays the logon screen.

  3. Log in to your PC as you normally would.
